Upgraded 2020 Club Car Onward from a small Lithium Battery to a Massive Lithium Vevor Beast!

Today I’m upgrading my 2020 Club Car Onward by swapping out the older 60Ah lithium battery for a much bigger and more capable unit — the VEVOR 48V 105Ah Golf Cart Lithium Battery

This DIY installs a 48-volt, 105 Ah LiFePO₄ battery with over 4,000+ life cycles, a 2.8″ Bluetooth/LCD monitor, and up to 600 A peak discharge, giving me tons more range and hill-climbing power compared to the old pack. I also show how I wired everything up, including: • Soldering the gauge-appropriate battery wires • Crimping and installing ring terminals for a secure connection • Mounting the battery cleanly in the tray For charging, I’m using a solid 48 V charger off Amazon (supports LiFePO₄ golf cart batteries) — perfect for keeping this big battery topped off after a long day of cruising.

What this upgrade does for my cart: ✅ Longer ride time & more usable amp-hours ✅ Real-time battery status via Bluetooth/LCD 🎥 Timestamps: 0:00 Intro – Why I’m upgrading 1:32 Unboxing 5:50 Removing the old 60Ah battery 13:45 Prepping wires & soldering 17:00 Installing ring terminals 19:30 Fitting the new 48V 105Ah VEVOR battery 20:15 Wiring & final hookup 23:30 Charger setup 👍 Don’t forget to subscribe** for more golf cart mods and upgrades! 💬 Drop a comment if you want a wiring diagram or parts list!
