Tesla installed the suspension before installing the battery pack, so when you go to remove and replace your Aft Links, the bolt goes in the wrong direction. This means you would have to drop the battery pack to remove the bolt. We decided that cutting the bolt was much easier. This is the replacement cam bolt to replace the cut one. Was your Tesla Model S or X in a collision, or damaged due to poor road surfaces? Creaking? Squeaking? Grinding? You could have a bad aft link assembly. Tesla recommends using the same model for both sides, as they have made revisions over the years. We have both the new Tesla replacement as well as an aftermarket replacement needed to repair your car back to new.
