Do you have bubbled, yellowed, or scratched screens in your Tesla Model S or X? These screen replacements require no software updates, and no trips to the Tesla Service Center, it is made for the DIY’er or Repair Shop to install in a couple of hours.

To verify you have the correct screen you need to look at the back of your screen to confirm whether you have gold/orange cables with the connections pointed down (GEN 1), or you have black ribbon cables (GEN 2), with the connections pointed up. I know this is frustrating to have to open it up to check, but there is no data linking your VIN or year to the MCU that is in the car.
