It "Runs" Again! 1991 Trans Am GTA Barn Find Restoration Part 3

The resurrection of my barn-find 1991 Pontiac Trans Am GTA continues! In Part 3, it's finally time to see if this forgotten GTA wants to live again after sitting untouched for nearly 20 years. Before attempting a startup, I tackle several critical maintenance items including replacing the spark plugs, spark plug wires, MAP sensor, and fuel filter. I also take a closer look at the rust damage to determine what challenges lie ahead in the restoration. After completing the repairs, the moment we've all been waiting for finally arrives—the first attempt to start the legendary 5.7L 350 TPI V8. While the fuel system still needs work, I was able to get the engine running on brake parts cleaner, proving there's still life left in this classic Pontiac! In this episode: ✅ New spark plugs installed ✅ New spark plug wires installed ✅ MAP sensor replacement ✅ Fuel filter replacement ✅ Rust inspection and assessment ✅ First startup attempt ✅ Engine runs for the first time in decades! This Y84, WS6-equipped GTA has a long road ahead, but hearing it run again is a huge milestone in bringing this classic F-body back from the dead.
